The Young People’s Fund 2 (YPF 2) is a Big Lottery Fund grants programme that puts young people at the heart of planning and running projects that will benefit them.

The National Grants strand of YPF2 is now closed to applications.  It offered grants between £1m to £5m to projects involving young people to make a big difference to their lives.

The Local Grants programme of YPF2 is expected to launch soon during Spring 2008, subject to income from lottery ticket sales holding up.

Grants of between £10,000 and £500,000 will be available and applicants will have about four months after the launch date to send in their initial application form. BIG plans to fund around 100 high quality projects across England, reflecting the same aims as those issued for National Grants.
