Excitement mounts for the launch of Fund Manager Version 8
Pebble is proud to announce that the BETT Show 2012 is the setting for the long anticipated launch of Fund Manager Version 8. It is an exciting time for Pebble as Fund Manager has also been shortlisted as a Finalist in the BETT Awards 2012 in the ICT Leadership and Management Solutions category. Fund Manager is the result of over a year’s worth of research, development and close customer consultation to deliver a comprehensive financial and administrative solution for the education sector. It will establish Pebble as the leader in innovative applications for managing voluntary funds and payments from parents.
The innovative product design and development is the creation of Pebble’s own in-house development team. The development was driven by user requests for additional features including the ability to customise the product and create new payment mechanisms for parents. Pebble prides itself on building strong relationships with schools and local education authorities, and Fund Manager wholly reflects Pebble’s openness and responsiveness to their customers’ needs. In fact, the dedication of the Pebble team to its values has helped to secure a 95% annual renewal rate for their financial solutions.
Fund Manager is a financial recording, reporting and reconciliation system that fully complies with Audit standards. It is customisable so that users can select modules including Online Payments, Finance & Reporting and Register Accounts to suit their need or budget. Being cloud based, it can be accessed and worked on anywhere via multiple user logins. This also means that there is a genuine reduction in ICT costs and technical support. Upgrades are seamless and, when necessary, one of our support team can easily and directly access the organisation’s account to restore data through the cloud.
Moving forward, Pebble is currently in close partnership with North Tyneside council to develop a cashless system to account for dinner money payments in real-time. Schools will be able to send personalised statements to parents to keep their cash flow up to date. It will operate on a unique mobile application using a hand-held device which will then integrate with the Register Account in Fund Manager. Pilots with six local authorities covering 40 schools will start in January 2012. It will be launched in February 2012.
