New Youth Music Programme now launched
Youth Music has launched its new funding model today and those seeking funding can apply via the Youth Music Network website. The funding model, entitled the Youth Music Programme, comprises a new knowledge sharing network and grants programme.
The Youth Music Network is an online community which connects anyone interested in music-making with children and young people. It is the perfect place to share ideas and expertise or start a partnership with like-minded organisations.
The Youth Music Programme funding is module-based, which aims to meet the requirements of individual organisations and their music-making activities. It carries on the main focus areas of Early Years, Challenging Circumstances, Encouraging Talent & Potential, and Workforce Development. Organisations can apply to a maximum of five modules per funding round, if required.
The Youth Music Programme also embraces an outcomes approach, which means that it is committed to supporting organisations with their long-term engagement in music-making. It does this by better equipping organisations to gather evidence for learning and achieving change.
